Built in 1914 and added to the National Historic Register in 1984. Like many Carnegie libraries, it is a one-story structure built on a raised basement. It was built by the Newton Company in Classical Revival style. The library was completed in November 1914, but its formal dedication was held on December 12, 1914.
The building retains incredible structural integrity and has not been significantly modified since its opening, maintaining its original historic look and feel.
